Yikes, I'm really behind on my posting. Hope to catch up over the next week or two. I didn't get any new pictures for this year's first week of August so I dug through my archives for a few random pictures:
A field of sunflowers on the Eastern Shore,
ligularia,
water lily,
phlox,
switchgrass,
Joe-pye weed,
yellow buckeye seeds,
and Carolina spiderlily. The rest of my August week 1 photos are here.
Darcia, look under my plants section and there is a post about my attempt to sprout bottlebrush seeds. It seemed to go well until I got lazy about watering them.
Nothing like a field of sunflowers to take you someplace else. They do what the beach does. Wide open spaces, following the yellow heads to another world! Great shots.
Glad to see someone else is not blogging regularly....August week 1? Good for you. I really like Joe Pye Weed, hope to have some in my garden next year.
